Community standards

Server rules

Clear rules for chat, building, trading and fair play. These apply everywhere connected to NookCraft.

01

Community conduct

Treat other players like people and keep public spaces welcoming.

  • No harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual harassment or targeted abuse.
  • Do not share private information, encourage dogpiling or repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop.
  • No chat flooding, disruptive spam or advertising other Minecraft servers.
  • Names, skins, signs, books and builds must not contain hateful, explicit or deliberately offensive material.
02

Building and property

Respect claims, locked storage and the work other players have put into the world.

  • No griefing, stealing or bypassing plot, city or chest protection.
  • Do not build deliberately disruptive structures immediately beside another city or claim.
  • Lag machines, excessive entities and builds designed to harm server performance are not allowed.
  • The wilderness is shared space: gather responsibly and do not leave avoidable large-scale damage near active settlements.
03

Fair play

Use the normal game and server systems—never an unfair technical advantage.

  • No hacked clients, X-ray, combat automation, movement cheats or prohibited macros.
  • Do not duplicate items, money or rewards, and do not knowingly keep the proceeds of a duplication exploit.
  • Report serious bugs privately. Deliberately exploiting a bug after discovering it is a rule violation.
  • Resource packs, shaders and accessibility tools are fine when they do not reveal hidden information or automate gameplay.
04

Economy and trading

Trades and player shops must honestly represent what is being bought or sold.

  • No shop signs, renamed items or trade wording designed to mislead buyers.
  • Honor agreed trades. Scamming, chargeback abuse and knowingly trading duplicated goods are prohibited.
  • Do not use alternate accounts to farm one-time rewards, evade prices or manipulate rankings.
  • Staff may reverse clearly fraudulent or exploit-related transactions when evidence is available.
05

PvP and conflict

PvP is part of the server only where its settings and protections allow it.

  • Do not bypass protected areas, safe zones or plot settings to damage another player.
  • No repeated spawn killing, teleport traps or tricking players into unavoidable combat.
  • Items lost during legitimate PvP are not normally restored; rule-breaking losses may be reviewed.
  • City rivalry never makes harassment, griefing or real-world threats acceptable.
06

Accounts and identity

You are responsible for activity performed through your Minecraft account.

  • No ban or mute evasion through alternate accounts.
  • Do not impersonate staff or another player, including through misleading names or messages.
  • Keep login links private. Staff will never ask for your password or one-time website login link.
  • Tell staff promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
07

Reports, enforcement and appeals

Context and severity matter; staff use the evidence available to protect the community.

  • Consequences can include a reminder, warning, mute, removal of gains, kick or ban.
  • Severe behavior can skip earlier steps. Repeated violations may receive stronger action.
  • Report problems privately with names, times and screenshots when possible—do not start a public argument.
  • If you believe a decision is wrong, appeal calmly and honestly. Harassing staff will not improve an appeal.
