Getting started

Connect, find information and set up the basics.

Your first session

  1. Join nookcraft.net and use /spawn if you need the starting area.
  2. Check /balance, then use /sethome somewhere safe.
  3. Browse /city list to join a city or follow the city guide to found your own.
  4. Run /vote for voting links and /web for this website.

Website account

Run /login in Minecraft and open the private one-time link. There is no website password. From your account page you can edit your public profile description.

Cities

Create a settlement, invite players, claim land and manage city access.

Found a city

  1. Travel to the place you want as the city spawn. It must be far enough from existing cities.
  2. Run /city new <name>. Names are 3–16 characters and can use letters, numbers, spaces, underscores or hyphens.
  3. The creation cost is paid automatically. Your current chunk becomes the first claim and you become mayor.
  4. Use /city invite <player>, then ask the player to run /city join <city>.

Grow and manage it

  1. Stand in an adjacent chunk and use /city claim to expand.
  2. Deposit funds with /city bank +amount so the city can pay its costs.
  3. Create city warps and assign trusted roles when your city grows.
  4. Use /city info, /city members and /city map to review its state.

Plots

Mark three-dimensional areas inside city land and control what happens in them.

Create a plot

  1. Hold a stick and left-click a block to start marking.
  2. Right-click each next corner. Each edge must run straight on the X or Z axis.
  3. Right-click the first corner again after at least three corners to close the outline.
  4. Adjust its height with /plot tall if needed, then run /plot new [name].

Share or sell a plot

Use /plot trust for trusted builders, /plot owner for an assisted transfer, or /plot sell to list it. Plot settings control PvP and mob spawning.

Create a plot from your completed stick outline.

Set the marked area from bedrock to the top of the sky.

Extend the selection vertically.

Remove a player's trusted access.

Shops and economy

Trade safely with players and run a chest-backed shop.

Create a player shop

  1. Place a chest, run /chest lock, then right-click it with a stick.
  2. Put the items for sale—or space for purchases—inside the chest.
  3. Place a sign within 48 horizontal blocks. Write BUY or SELL on line 1 and the price on line 4.
  4. Hold lapis lazuli, right-click the sign, then right-click the locked chest to link them.

Use money safely

/pay requires a reason so transfers are easier to understand. Check the sign, item and amount before using a shop; misleading trades violate the rules.

Show your balance or another player's balance.

Pay a player and record the reason.
/stateshop <on|off>
Convert the targeted completed shop to or from a state shop. Administrator only.

Travel and storage

Save locations, request teleports, use warps and protect containers.

Lock containers

Run a chest command first, then right-click the chest or hopper with a stick within two minutes. Use /chest share for access without changing ownership.

Teleport safely

Teleport requests require the other player to accept. Use /back to return to your previous location and named homes for important places.

/home [name]
Teleport to your default or named home.

Restore hunger and saturation. Iron, Gold and Diamond.

Wear the held item as a hat. Iron, Gold and Diamond.
/enderchest
Open your ender chest anywhere. Gold and Diamond.
/repair
Fully repair the held item. Gold and Diamond.
/head
Buy your own player head for in-game coins. Gold and Diamond.

Buy a server-wide advertisement. Gold and Diamond.

Receive the permanently bound invisible elytra. Diamond.

Copyright the held map so only you can copy it.
